Eliane – The Red Room
A plush, almost theatrical setting.
Red velvet, warm light, suspended silence.
This series features Eliane in an enclosed, intimate space, inspired by classic lounges and retro cinematic universes. The setting provides reassurance, evoking comfort, elegance, and control. However, the makeup disrupts this interpretation.
The eyes placed on the face become a symbol of multiple gazes, multiplied perception, and internal surveillance. The antique telephone introduces narrative tension: who is calling, who is listening, who is observing?
This work explores the contrast between sophistication, strangeness, and beauty.
A warm light that carves out the space like on a film set.
This series was conceived as a true editorial, inspired by film noir codes and sophisticated retro universes. The lounge becomes a stage. The armchair becomes a throne.
Eliane, represented by POP Modèle Agency and Square Agency, embodies this ambivalent presence: elegant, self-assured, yet imbued with a subtle strangeness. The makeup, created by Naomi Annen, introduces a strong visual disruption. The eyes placed on the face create a multiplicity of gazes, a sensation of permanent, almost unsettling observation.
The image oscillates between classic glamour and contemporary tension.
An editorial designed to engage with advertising codes while injecting a distinct artistic and cinematic dimension.
