Maude – Chromatic Movements

Series with Maude, centered on motion blur and color as photographic material.

Everything was constructed in-camera. Light displacement, exposure time, movement within the frame. The red and blue trails fragmenting the image are not effects added in post-production; it is the light itself moving during the shot. This constraint completely changes the workflow, each image is unique and non-reproducible.

Maude’s body becomes a projection surface. At times it holds within the image, at others it disappears beneath the colored vibration. It is precisely at this boundary between sharpness and abstraction that the series exists.
