Marion – L’Enfant Lune
Artistic collaboration with dancer Marion Halil.
The intention was in the detail, movement, the gesture of the hands rather than the face. A body that tells a story without needing to meet the lens.
To build the visual universe of this series, I drew from the aesthetic of classic Hollywood nights. Saturated blue monochrome, sculptural light, dramatic chiaroscuro. Images conceived to reveal the contained tension in each position, each gesture, each lean. The result is a series where poetry moves through matter. Light shapes the volumes. Contrast carves them.
Marion’s body becomes a photographic subject in its own right, far from the conventional codes of dance portraiture.
