Marion Halil – Avant tu riais

The idea was to film her improvisation instinctively, with minimal preparation. I chose a very stripped-back style to focus on her movements and energy. The edit follows the music to preserve the mood of the track and show her work as a dancer in the most direct way.
Marion dances, I film, we keep everything raw.
The Ground Shaker – Onna Bugeisha

Music video for the band The Ground Shaker.
The visual approach is built on a sharp contrast between two distinct colour palettes.
On one side, a cold, blue-saturated aesthetic for the group sequences, using vertical light sources to sculpt movement. On the other, a warm and dark atmosphere, lit by flames to create a more organic tension.
The goal was to produce a raw, high-contrast look where light alone defines the rhythm of the video.
Maeva – Shadows

This series of tests with Maeva is part of my personal research on light.
The objective was to work exclusively on silhouettes and contours. I explored the use of a warm backlight to carve shapes out of darkness, creating highly graphic images.
It’s an exploration of cast shadows, along with some in-camera effects, to test more abstract compositions.
IMMЯAM

IMMRAM is a science-fiction short film with an educational purpose, produced by Domus Fabula.
My work on the cinematography and cold colour grading was designed to create a heavy, oppressive atmosphere, necessary to provoke reflection. I sought a raw, unfiltered look so the visuals would directly support the training of psychiatric nurses.
Marion Halil – Enfant Lune

Enfant Lune is a visual exploration built around the movement of dancer Marion Halil.
The idea behind this video was to test a classic cinematic technique: the ‘Day for Night’ look.
I worked with a deeply saturated blue monochrome to sculpt shapes and play with shadows. The aim was to focus on the details of gesture and body tension, without natural colours interfering with the image.
We also produced a photo series to accompany this project.
Compagnie OTHERS

These two videos for the OTHERS dance company were made to add depth to their presentation portfolio, whether for funding applications or festival submissions.
The core idea was to create a strong contrast between the energy of the company members and the imposing setting of the Bellelay Abbey.
This historically rich venue, with its vast luminous spaces, made it possible to shape a raw aesthetic that highlights the presence of the dancers.
Archeìo

Archeìo is a narrative project made in collaboration with Domus Fabula, exploring the struggle of freeing oneself from guilt.
On this film, I handled the direction of photography, editing, and colour grading.
The visual approach relies on strong contrasts and a colour palette that underscores the weight of the subject. I worked with tight framing to capture the intensity of expressions, set against dark industrial locations, creating a suffocating and memorable atmosphere.
